If you have never made a commitment to Jesus as Lord and Savior before, we encourage you to sincerely pray the following prayer based on scripture:
“God, I admit that I’m a sinner (Romans 3:23) and that my sin separates me from you. I also understand that my sin has a death penalty associated with it and makes me unqualified to be with you in heaven, but I also understand that you loved me so much that you sent your one and only son to pay that death penalty on my behalf (Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, John 3:16). Right now, I want to ask for forgiveness of sin knowing that you forgive (1 John 1:9). Thank you for your forgiveness. I want to turn from my sin and turn towards you from this point forward. On this day and for the rest of my life, I sincerely declare that you are my Lord, that I’m living for you, and that you died and rose from the dead (Romans 10:9). Thank you for saving me from the fires of hell and for giving me life in your Holy Spirit! Thank you for embracing me and giving me the opportunity to enjoy you in heaven for all of eternity! I love you, Lord. Thank you for loving me! Amen”
