Roots Children’s Ministry at Ames is seeking to help the children of Ames grow deep roots in Christ! Changes to the structure of Sunday School and Children’s Church have been implemented to include a large group worship time, age appropriate Bible story lessons and hands-on activities to reinforce God’s truth to the children.
We are currently studying our way through Genesis and are ecstatic to see how God is at work in the lives of the children at Ames. Children are asking great questions and showing that they want to understand God’s word on a deeper level. When discussing
the story of Noah and the Flood one child stated, “Knowing that God has always kept his promises makes me feel secure.” It’s simple, but so very powerful! Praise God for revealing his awesome truth and reminding us all that He WILL keep his promises!
