Recently, Jesse Karls’ efforts to provide mission opportunities in the city of Saginaw for mission-minded groups resulted in Ames hosting three different youth groups in addition to some of the Ames youth. Jesse and his crew organized service projects and provided housing and food to the groups. They also led training and discipleship moments. It was a fantastic event! The groups were from Midland First UMC, Teens for Christ and Saginaw Wesleyan Church. The groups served at Old Town COC (food give-away pictured above), Kingdom Builders (home projects), Sunshine Community Gardens (fall clean-up), and repair work in our Drive and Ride labs at Ames.
